WHAT IS TOEFL? The TOEFL test, formerly known as Test Of English as a Foreign Language, is used to measure English language proficiency. It evaluates non-native English speakers' ability to read, write, speak, and listen to English in a similar way that is used in universities. It has become an admission requirement for non-native English speakers & it’s recognized by more than 8, 500 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, the U.
