Choices Minecraft Story Mode is a game made by Tell. Tale games and similar to other Tell Tale games uses quicktime events and choice making to convey the story and progress. In Minecraft Story Mode the player chooses what they want to do or say and what they choose will effect relationships with other characters negatively or positively depending on the action, a players choices can also effect where they go, what items they could find and possible obstacles or dangers they may face or create for themselves on the way.

Character Relationships As you progress through the game you will begin to discover more characters and places, the choices you make and things you choose to say around these characters will affect their opinion on you and could even be the difference between them fighting with or against you in some parts of the game. Many times in the game you will be faced with options involving the loss of characters such as the choice to prevent or encourage someone to leave your group, there also times where you will have to make hard decisions on saving someone's life with a choice of two people to save which will inevitably make the person you chose not to save have a less positive view of you.

Skyrim Although Skyrim is not a game with a complete focus on decision making, there aspects of the game which vary depending on the players decision making, for example, if enough acts of unlawfulness are witnessed around certain areas with guards or witnesses present then the guards as well as eventually town folk will attack you on site. This can make quests based in towns much more difficult to complete. If you are not caught the guards will still make remarks as you pass and may even try to catch you again. One scene based on acts of morality is an encounter with a stray dog. Although in this encounter you have a range of choices in which you could either, rescue it, kill it (And eat it), or leave it alone. If you choose to rescue it, it will become your companion and will help you fight on your adventures.

Bounty in Skyrim The Bounty mechanic tracks the severity and number of crimes that the player has committed. You can reduce a bounty in a range of ways, for example, killing witnesses if possible (including animals bandits and townsfolk). You can also pay off the bounty if you have enough gold. Once you pay off the bounty all stolen items will be confiscated, you can prevent this by storing the stolen items. You could also go to jail as an alternative to paying off the bounty, however, this will reduce the progress that you have made towards levelling up skills.

Factions Different factions have different enemies, this means that members of enemy factions may be sent to kill you. This relates to morality as there good, neutral and evil factions. If you join an evil faction, the people within the faction will not like it if you join a good faction and it would be difficult to continue playing along this line without switching to either side, The faction you choose can affect the appearance and abilities of your character both positively and negatively, a good example of this is the faction known as 'The Dark Brotherhood' which is a cult which practices dark magic and as you progress through the ranks you will be taught exclusive dark magic of theirs which can help you explore dungeons and fight off the obstacles with ease.
