PROJECT STATEMENT YOU HAVE ASKED US TO: Provide a 20 classroom addition to Millbrook Elementary School. This addition will redefine Millbrook Elementary School’s campus, creating a new identity along Pine Log Road. As parents and students approach the school, the entrance will be clearly defined and intuitive. The new addition will also create a secure and cohesive floor plan, connecting the currently separated classroom buildings, and providing secure and deliberate circulation throughout the campus.

PROJECT PROGRESS WE RECENTLY BEGAN MOVING FORWARD WITH SCHEMATIC DESIGN FOR THIS PROJECT. TO THIS POINT IN THE PROJECT, WE HAVE: OWNER COORDINATION We have met with ACPSD to review and discuss the project scope. We toured the campus and spoke with Millbrook Elementary School administration to review and discuss their needs and potential solutions. 12. 17. 18 SCHEMATIC DESIGN PROGRESS MEETING During this meeting, we reviewed and discussed proposed design solutions. We confirmed that schematic site layout, general project scope, and the location of the new classroom addition. We also discussed construction sequencing, the project schedule, and the project budget. INTERNAL COORDINATION We have been coordinating internally with our consultants to further establish the scope and requirements for this project. We are working with them currently to develop the schematic design pricing package. We have also been visiting the site to review and document existing conditions. ADDITIONAL COORDINATION We have been coordinating with DOT, the city planning administrator, and the city horticulturist to establish their requirements for the project and to discuss various potential solutions. OSF We have been in touch with OSF to schedule a table top review of our schematic design documents. 01. 17. 19 SCHEMATIC DESIGN PROGRESS MEETING This will be our next meeting with ACPSD to discuss and review the schematic design documents.
