Travel Considerations and Requirements Military PCS/TDY * When information on installation assessments is available, it will be located at same link as the green state/nation listing. If an origin or destination installation will not be assessed locally (1, 000 or less permanently assigned Do. D personnel), apply the general Do. D state or host nation assessment. (Installations/Facilities within a 50 -mile commuting distance will coordinate their assessments and plans) ** PCS is authorized IAW current RNLTD and HHG pack ‘window’. (Early departure is not authorized simply due to the existence of unrestricted travel conditions. ) When applicable, ROM will be accomplished at the gaining location. If a location is reclassified with additional restrictions while an Airman is enroute to that location, the member’s gaining command will review the situation and is authorized to permit continued movement. When a location has been “cleared” for both factors (state/nation and installation), it only means the removal of the Sec. Def Stop Movement order; any other travel restrictions imposed either by host nation or local law or ordnance, or by member’s chain of command, are still in effect. Coordination with the gaining installation must take place prior to departing (especially for travel “to” OCONUS locations). Military Leave Outside the Local Area * When information on installation assessments is available, it will be located at same link as the green state/nation listing. If an origin or destination installation will not be assessed locally (1, 000 or less permanently assigned Do. D personnel), apply the general Do. D state or host nation assessment. (Installations/Facilities within a 50 -mile commuting distance will coordinate their assessments and plans) ** Military members taking leave must comply with CDC guidelines for non-pharmaceutical interventions (e. g. , social distancing, hand washing, wear of cloth face coverings), and comply with state and local COVID-19 guidance for all locations while on leave. When applicable, ROM will be accomplished upon return to home station. Other travel restrictions may be imposed by host nations, local laws, or installation commanders. (Also applicable to Reserve Component members in a duty status)
