Programme SPLA Les Services providers offrent une variété de services à leurs clients en incluant directement ou indirectement un accès aux Produits Microsoft® Server ou qui des services logiciels qui interagissent avec les licences Microsoft. Vous êtes un service provider si votre société : Fournit à vos clients directement ou indirectement un accès aux produits Microsoft, par exemple : un service de sites Web hébergés ou d’applications métier (LOB) via les produits Microsoft Server. Changements du Programme en 2009 Lier le programme SPLA au MBSA/MBA The Microsoft Business and Services Agreement (MBSA/MBA) is a perpetual agreement between the customer and Microsoft that contains high-level terms and conditions that are applicable to all agreements signed under it. Services providers that have an existing MBSA/MBA via another Volume Licensing Agreement should work with their account manager and/or reseller to provide their MBSA/MBA number and link the MBSA/MBA to their SPLA. Services providers without an existing MBSA/MBA are required to sign one the next time they sign an SPLA Agreement. Once an MBSA is signed, SPLA partners only need to sign a shorter and simplified SPLA Agreement every three years. Product downloads through the MVLS Alternative to purchasing media from the price list. Services providers still need to contact the product Activation Call Center to obtain their Volume Licensing keys (VLKs). NOTE: MVLS has not yet been customized for services provider use beyond product downloads. Three-year commitment offering (available early 2009) The addition of SKUs that will allow services providers to commit up front to licenses for certain products and receive a 12 percent discount. Great option for services providers with stable infrastructures and long term commitments with customers, and also for those with the ability to pay for licenses up front each year.

Signer le « Microsoft Business and Service Agreement » . Ou lier votre contrat à un MBSA/MBA existant. Choisir un revendeur SPLA agréé. Effectuer votre déclaration mensuelle (même si elle est à 0) des llicences. Payer mensuellement les factures liées à votre SPLA. Se conformer avec le « Services Provider Use Rights (SPUR) » . Respecter les droits de propriété intellectuelle, l’usage des marques déposées et les règles d’anti-piratage. Fournir le support technique. Accepter de participer aux audits Microsoft SPLA.

Le modèle de Licensing SPLA Les licences acquises sous SPLA sont des licences mensuelles non perpétuelles qui peuvent être utilisées durant la durée du contrat. Les produits disponibles sous le programme SPLA peuvent être acquis selon 2 modèles de licensing : Par utilisateur : Subscriber Access License (SAL) Par processeur : Per Processor License (PL) Note: tous les produits ne sont pas disponibles sous les 2 modèles. Windows Server® operating system, the Microsoft Office system, et Microsoft SQL Server® sont diponibles sous les 2 modèles.

Licences par Utilisateur (SAL) Une licence par utilisateur (SAL) est requise pour chaque utilisateur ou périphérique qui est autorisé à accéder ou utiliser le logiciel. Une SAL est requise pour chaque utilisateur qui est autorisé à utiliser le ligiciel dans le mois. Une license Serveur n’est pas requise si l’option licensing par utilisateur est choisie. Tous les produits ne sont pas disponibles sous le licensing par utilisateur Exemples de produits disponibles sous le licensing par utilisateur : Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, the 2007 Microsoft Office system, and Microsoft Dynamics® business software. Exemples de produits disponibles sous le mode de licence par processeur : Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Share. Point® Server, and the Microsoft Office system. Quelques bénéfices du modèle de licensing par processeur : Les licences processeur sont plus simples à monitorer et calculer. Les licences Processeur remplacent les licences Internet Connector. Le modèle par processeur est le plus intéressant économiquement pour une grande variété de scénarii de services et applications hébergés.

Le modèle de pricing SPLA Liste des prix La liste des prix SPLA sont communiquées régulièrement par les revendeurs agréés SPLA. La liste est aussi disponible sur le portail https: //www. explore. ms Les changements de prix Microsoft peut dimimnuer les prix dans la liste à n’importe quel moment. Microsoft peut augmenter les prix dans la liste uniquement dans les 2 cas suivants : Une fois par an : le 1 er janvier. À n’importe quel moment pour compenser les taux de change des devises autres que le USD.

La déclaration SPLA (Reporting) Les partenaires SPLA ont l’obligation de soumettre mensuellement une déclaration d’usage ou de « 0 usage » . Monthly Use Report Contrats SPLA indirects Il faut soumettre à votre revendeur SPLA votre déclaration dans les 10 premiers jours du mois pour l’usage du mois précédent. Une déclaration « 0 usage » est requise si aucun usage n’est à déclarer lors du mois précédent.

Le support Produit Le partenaire SPLA (et pas Microsoft) est responsable du support technique des produits Microsoft qu’il fournit. Le partenaire SPLA doit disposer d’une des 3 options de support suivantes : Un contrat Microsoft Premier support services; ou Un service de Support via le programme Microsoft Professional support avec un minimum de 10 incidents prépayés; ou Un service de support équivalent aux options cidessous via un autre programme de support Microsoft ou un tierce.

Démarrer et réussir avec le SPLA Une fois dans le programme SPLA, voilà quelques étapes clés pour démarrer et réussir votre activité SPLA : Inclure les licences dans vos services logiciels pour vos clients. S’assurer que « Microsoft customer license terms » et les droits d’usage des licences sont fournis et acceptés par vos clients. Obtenir les copies de Master des produits Microsoft via votre revendeur agréé ou en les téléchargeant du site MVLS. Windows Datacenter Anonymous User Restrictions. You may allow only the following users to use or access the server software: § Users who access your instances of the server software through the Internet without being authenticated or otherwise individually identified by any other means by the server software, or by multiplexing or pooling software or hardware, or § Users who access and use the server software only as a platform for certain server applications. Windows Anonymous Use Rights § Users who access your instances of the server software when those instances are used exclusively for web hosting. An instance is used for web hosting if: 1. The sole purpose of the server upon which the instance is running is to run websites that directly interface with the Internet and the primary functionality of the server is publicly accessible, and 2. You permit and enable users of the websites to upload custom code, content, and data to their websites, without restriction. You may, however, restrict use for security reasons directly related to spam or other similar commercial email abuse as provided in your acceptable use policy. Your acceptable use policy must be reasonably based on web hosting industry standards.

Windows Datacenter Anonymous Use Rights Testing, maintenance, management and administration access: You may also permit up to five (5) other users for each instance running in a physical operating system environment and two (2) other users for each instance running in a virtual operating system environment to use or access the services of a server running the server software for the sole purpose of testing, maintenance, management and administration of the licensed products. In these cases, you may use authentication services from Microsoft or a thirdparty to control management agents, services or administration access. You do not need Windows Server 2008 Terminal Services SALs for this limited number of users performing testing, maintenance and administration of the licensed products.
