POWERPOINT – Project 3 1. OPEN the presentation X Museum Exhibits USERNAME from the Student Files in Power. Point Folder on the shared drive. 2. SAVE the presentation with Last Name, First Name Museum Exhibits to your Power. Point Folder in your H: Drive. 3. Add your first and last name in the subtitle placeholder. 4. Add the Depth design theme to all slides in the presentation.

POWERPOINT – Project 3 5. On slide 1, change the font of the title text to Garamond and bold the title. 6. Select slide 2 and change the font of the title text as follows: a. b. c. d. Garamond Font color Light Turquoise, Text 2 Font size 66 pts. Bold 7. Use Format Painter to copy the formatting of the title text on slide 2 to the title text on slides 3 and 4.

POWERPOINT – Project 3 8. On slide 3, insert an appropriate online image in the left placeholder using the keyword gears. 9. On Slide 4, insert a Beveled Rectangle shape (in the Basic Shapes section) on the left side of the slide. Resize the shape to be 4. 75” in height and 2. 5” in width. 10. Inside the shape, type the text The Ocean Zones; format the text to be fonts size 24 pts. 11. Create three additional shapes the same shape and size to the right of the first shape—leave some space between each shape. In the newly created shapes, type the text Marine Biology, Undersea Exploration, and The Changing Food Chain. Make sure the font size is 24 pts. in each shape.

Select the first shape (The Ocean Zones) and change the shape fill color to Lime, Accent 3; select the second shape (Marine Biology) and change the shape fill color to Green, Accent 4; select the third shape (Undersea Exploration) and change the shape fill color to Gold, Accent 5; select the fourth shape (The Changing Food Chain) and remove the color from the shape (choose No Fill). 13. Select the four shapes and Distribute Horizontally, Align Bottom, Group then Align Center. 14. Change the weight of the outline on the four shapes to 4 ½ pts. (Hint: Because they are grouped, the border on the shapes can be changed all at once. )

POWERPOINT – Project 3 15. Add the shape effect Tight Reflection: Touching (in the Reflection menu). 16. After side 2, add the new slide titled Space and Astronomy from the existing presentation called Fleet Museum saved in the Power. Point folder on the Student drive; after slide 5, add the new slide titled Science and the Arts. 17. On slide 1, create a hyperlink to the title text (Fleet Museum) that links to the website www. rhfleet. org.

POWERPOINT – Project 3 18. Remove the transition from all slides in the presentation. 19. SAVE the presentation with the changes and close the file. 20. SUBMIT the presentation in Canvas.
