Pressure • Urgent or forceful demand. • Michelle must have felt a lot of pressure when she lost the junior nationals competition, but was still determined to become a senior skater. Multiple Meaning: Also like the pressure caused by heat and gas under the earth’s surface that can make a volcano explode.
