Norms n Each assignment on Canvas is scheduled for one assignment per week n When meeting in Google Meet Mute your microphone unless speaking Disable your camera unless necessary Do not interrupt others Use chat box to address questions Use “Netiquette”

Netiquette n Anything you type in the discussion area is public – which means that every student in this class (including me) will see what you write. Please pay attention to the language you use and adhere to the following guidelines:

Netiquette cont. n Do not post anything too personal n Do not use language that is inappropriate for a classroom setting or prejudicial regarding gender, race, or ethnicity. n Do not use all caps in the message box unless you are emphasizing (it is considered shouting) n Be courteous and respectful to other people on the list

Netiquette cont. n Do not overuse acronyms like those that you would use in text messaging. Some of the list participants (including me) may not be familiar with acronyms. n If the posting is going to be long, use line breaks and paragraphs n Be careful with sarcasm and subtle humor; one person’s joke is another person’s insult. n When communicating with me, keep in mind professionalism, tone, and grammar.

JROTC Questions/Concerns n By order of USAF, all JROTC activities have been cancelled until further notice n Award ceremony will be scheduled after the start of the new year n Group Commander Presentations will be scheduled before school begins n All uniform wears have been suspended n Uniform turn-in will be scheduled at a date to be determined and communicated through Remind

JROTC Questions/Concerns n Please prepare uniform for turn-in: Dry-clean Pants, Jackets, Hat, and Tie and leave inside of plastic bag with tag to verify Machine wash Shirts (place extra detergent or treatment on collar area before washing) Accessory Bag: w Place ribbons, name-tags, belts, buckles, etc. in plastic bag w Place piece of paper with your written full name in bag
