Postup: V práci sú charakterizované základné bankové produkty. Po každej charakteristike produktu nasleduje úloha pre žiakov. Žiaci sa najprv oboznámia so slovnou zásobou textu v anglickom jazyku, neskôr text interpretujú. Po dôkladnom oboznámení sa s textom pristupujú k riešeniu úlohy.

A current account � � � The employers regularly send the employees´ earnings to their accounts. People can withdraw a certain amount of their money from the account. It is possible to exceed the amount up to an agreed overdraft limit. If people overdraw their account they have to pay interest. If the payments are regular, the customer can ask for a standing order. The bank sends to its customers account statement telling them how much money is in the account.

A bank card � � � People can withdraw money from their account through a cash machine, using a bank card. A bank card usually has the name of the clint and unique card number printed on it. Two main types of bank cards are credit cards and debit cards. Credit cards allow withdrawing money up to an approved credit limit. Debit cards allow withdrawing money up to the available balance in cardholdres´ account.
