Equity and Anti-Racism ● The MSD of Lawrence Township is committed to eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in achievement and discrimination. ● Through conscious and deliberate examination of the institutional beliefs, behaviors, policies, programs, practices, systems and structure in our School Corporation to identify and eliminate those that may perpetuate racial and ethnic disparities in order to counteract the impact of contemporary and historical institutionalized racism and discrimination.
Safety and Security We are committed to creating safe and strong schools for our community. ● In this time of a pandemic, we are committed to the health and wellbeing of our students and staff. We will continue to seek safeguards and provide a clean, safe learning environment. ● Through the Blue Ribbon Projects, we will continue to improve the physical safety of all MSDLT buildings. In 2020 -2021, we will enhance 10 additional buildings. Baseline: 2019 -2020 - 5 buildings; 2018 -2019 – 7 buildings
Student Achievement We are passionate about providing rigorous, high-quality academic achievement in a diverse and enriching environment. ● Graduation Rate - Maintain a 93% graduation rate while increasing the percentage of students earning an academic honors or technical honors diploma by 5% in every racial sub-group. • Increase in Advanced Placement course enrollment(10%) and average test scores (. 5 points) in every racial sub-group. • Increase career and college readiness rating by 4%.
Student Achievement – (continued) • Grade 10/11 ISTEP proficiency growth of 5% for first time test takers and 10% for retesters. ● Growth of 10 % in the number of students meeting grade level proficiency on district benchmark Math and Reading assessments at the mid-year and yearend. ● Test score gap will decrease by 5% between all ESSA identified subgroups on year-end district benchmark assessments.
Student Achievement - Continued • District Rigor diagnostic growth greater than the national average of 1. 8. • Composite WIDA score growth of. 5 or greater for each EL student.

Operations and Finance We are responsible for twenty-one facilities and over 2500 employees ● The MSDLT School Board will ensure a strong and stable financial outlook by maintaining a cash balance of $10 M in the education fund at the end of each calendar year. Baseline: 2020 and 2019 - 10 Million ● All taxing funds will maintain a positive balance at the end of the fiscal year. Baseline: 2020 and 2019 – Positive Balance
