Reports BI to assist them in sales analytics to evaluate market trends and enable operational and tactical reporting for sales Requirements & Challenges • Sales data exists in different silos and consolidation of data was required to ensure consolidated reporting • Since milk is 365 day business – daily reports were required with early morning reporting of daily sales • Both tactical and operational reports were required for the management, sales head and sales team • Reports were being prepared manually which resulted into time gap. Users wanted reports instantaneously Solution • Reorganizing the data by creating a data warehouse to validate and consolidate all data • Built in validation and conversion rules to enable correct reports • Provided various sales dashboards and reports which helped the users get organized information on the fly • Enabled auto-email of reports and dashboards so that users get the required information on time Benefits • Reports are now made on the fly and time to provide reports to users is greatly reduced • Users can slice and dice and create their own reports as well, e. g. compare festival sales of this year vs. last year or see a route’s performance over different time periods • Interactive dashboards provide real time information for decision making without having to do through pages of reports
