NATURAL CONSEQUENCES • TAKING NO ACTION • LEAVING NATURE TO BREAK DOWN THE OIL BY EVAPORATION, WAVE ACTION, AND PHOTO-OXIDATION BY THE SUN • THIS TECHNIQUE IS ESPECIALLY POPULAR WITH OPEN OCEAN SPILLS WHERE CLEANUP IS DIFFICULT AND INEFFICIENT
