Hints & Tips • PMs should always have a Calendar Frequency to catch PMs that are missed from reading route • Meter Reading routes used to collect readings should show current reading to catch broken meters • Some customers use Reading Spreadsheets • Use Meter Reading Validation Formulas to detect 'bad' readings

Meter Data Collection • PLC Meter Reading table provided to insert readings from other systems directly into CHAMPS database • Mobile Meter Reading function inserts rows into the PLC Meter Reading table • New Meter Reading Report processes readings and validates them using same logic as online Meter Reading

How Meter PMs Work • Setup PM to Trigger by 1 YR+ Calendar Frequency • Add existing Meter to PM and set Trigger Value • Perform Meter Readings - If Reading meets PM/Meter Trigger Value the Next Due Date is set to Today. PM Next Trigger is updated.

How Meter PMs Work • The PM will appear at top of PM Browse and could be Tasked On Demand • The next PM Duelist should pick up the PM as a candidate and generate it into a Work Order

Fixed Vs Float & Meters • Float DEMANDS that you perform WO Step Completion - Cancelled is not same as Complete in versions prior to V 13 • Entering current Meter Reading from WO Step Completion
