What can we improve? 1. Accessing GP appointments – hubs need promoting. 2. Disability awareness needs to improve / understanding of needs of service users. 3. Chronic illness awareness – needs an overview all not tackled together. 4. We need to make our information more disability friendly. 5. We need to test material with service users. 6. Need more continuity of care within NHS services. 7. Outpatients appointments waiting times vary.

What can we improve? 8. Access to Mental Health services more geared towards the physically well. 9. Patient self advocacy has to improve – patients need supporting. 10. Patient data / sharing will help with treatment. 11. All patients are different – should be understood. 12. Mixed experience of accessing services especially through reception staff. 13. Patient transport lack of coherent policy – for accessing service – seems unfair.

What NHS services in Merton work well? 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Dental services are very good. Podiatry services are good; offer timely services / appointments. Occupational therapist adjustments for me at home. Home physic and speech therapy very good. Orthotics services Wilson Mental Health service very good. Joined local PPG dialogue with doctors and staff has helped. GP hubs seem to work well.

What NHS services in Merton work well? 9. Some services very flexible in terms of access whilst some don’t cater for those with disabilities. 10. Some NHS services / offices not very DDA compliant. 11. Regular health checks through GP and chemist work well. 12. Pharmacy home delivery service works well. 13. Health checks should be more available across all vulnerable groups. 14. Referrals system for acute appointments works very well. 15. A&E at St Georges – Moorfields really positive experience, quick & efficient.
