Everything seems fine until one grave day you and your other fellow merpeople see a huge net being tossed into your area! Mermaid hunters! You watch in horror as some of your fellow merpeople are being caught up by the nets. Out of these people you recognize your dear old mother, your only parent since your father got caught since you were a baby. “Goodbye baby, ” she whispered. “I love you…” You are now alone, no one is wanting to help you since your father was infamous. You swim and dodge away from the brutal nets tears streaming down your cheeks. Your beloved old mother. . . gone. You swim to your home. . . a broken shipwreck and collapse on your bed. Crying harder than you ever been. You cry long and hard when. . . BANG! CRACK! You turn, finding yourself face to face with a shark. . . grinning at you. Your loud crying must have lured him over, including the smell of your tears. You think fast. . . you could try to befriend with the shark or you could try to out swim it or as your mother always does smack its nose. What should you do? You look at the shark gently, the shark’s eyes soften. You smile gently at the shark, the shark’s teeth become less scary. Then, a bright light shines. . . you close your eyes because of the brightness. When you open them, you are face to face with the most handsome merman you’ve ever seen. “Hello, ” he smiled. “My name is Finn, thank you for freeing me from the spell. The Evil Mermaid cast a spell on me. That I will only be turned back if a mermaid will try to befriend me. Thank you ever so much. As a token, I will remain at your side forever. You will be called Jewel. For you are the Jewel that saved my life. ” You smile sadly at Finn, noticing your distress he asked, “What is the matter, my love? ” You tell him your sad tale, Finn nodded sadly. “You have been wise to try to befriend me. I will escape with you. . . let us go together. For we can’t stay here for danger awaits. As my promise I will remain with you till the end. Come and let us escape together. ” Finn wraps his arm around you and you both set off together to escape from the mermaid hunters. Click Here to continue
You swim as fast as you can from the shark. . . you swim and swim till you feel that the shark is not chasing you. But when you look back you are rather confused. There is no shark behind you. Even though you are supposed to feel relieved, you don’t. . . it was like you should have done something else. But you toss that thought away, what matters now is that you are now free from that fierce shark. You sigh with relief and continue your escape. . . alone and lonely. Click Here to continue
You fiercely smack the shark’s nose. The shark growls in pain, you take this chance and swim away. You look back, the shark looks as you but doesn't chase you. Weird. The shark seems to look at you sadly, then before you can study the face more. . . the shark swims away. You feel sudden shame. It was like you should have done something else. But you shake out the thought. All it matters is you finally got away from that weird shark. You head on with your escape, alone and strangely sad. Click Here to continue
You and Finn set off away from your beloved home, the house where you and your beloved old mother lived in. . . you silently cry as you think of the memories there. You are stopped as Finn calmly rubs your back. “I did that trick to my younger sister, ” Finn smiles. “It seems to work on you as well. What is the matter? ” “I miss my mother, ” You breathe out. “Me too. . . mine got caught up as well. ” You look at Finn stunned. “Yes, ” he continued. “Mine did too. Let’s get something to eat. . . like seaweed or fish. What do you want do you prefer? ” Click Here if you choose to have seaweed Click Here if you choose to have fish
You head along your journey, alone. . . you feeling rather hungry you grab strands of seaweed and eat them. You also take some and pack them for later use. As you travel on you find two dolphins a mother and baby. They look towards you. . . you smile at them. Dolphins are mermaids best of friends. They swim towards you and they nuzzle at you on your cheek. As you cup their faces in your hands you find the mother dolphin. . . sick. She looks weakly at you then. . . at her baby. . . then to you. . . then to her baby. . . then before you could do anything the mother dolphin dies. Her body falls to the sandy ground. The dolphin baby cries for the lost of its mother. . . just like the pain you felt. You have a huge temptation to raise the dolphin. . . but, how can you help it when, you can’t even possibly save yourself? “I think seaweed, ” You replied. Remembering the crispy salty seaweed your old beloved mother used to make. Finn winks at you in the most handsome way and swims to the sandy ground and pulls up delicious strands of seaweed. You watch with delight. Finn smiles at you and hands you a handful. You smile as you sink your teeth in the salty-sweet-seaweed. Suddenly. . . out of nowhere a shark appears. “I got this, ” you heard Finn wispear. Before you knew it, Finn turned into a dolphin and stormed up to the shark and attacked. The shark fought back. This went on about forever. . . in the end the shark left. . . but, when Finn changed back. . . his back was wounded. Click Here to continue
“I think I choose fish, ” you reply. Finn smiles at you and holds you by the hand. “I’m going to take you to my favorite place to fish, ” he smiled. You grin as Finn takes you to his favorite fishing spot, but when you got there. . . you realize you’re not the only folk who wants fish. A shark was nearby and he sees you. “Not good, not good, ” you hear him mummer. “I would protect you, but this shark is too strong. . . we could swim away. . . but he’ll catch up to two dolphin jumps. . . Jewel, I’m awfully sorry. . . our end is here. ” You look at Finn, troubled. You know there must be away. . . the shark lures toward you and Finn. You lock eyes with it. . . it locks eyes with you, then before Finn could stop you. . . you smack the shark smack on the nose. The shark yelps in pain. . . Finn grabs your arm and you both swim away as fast as you both can. Click Here to continue
You gently pat the baby dolphin as if to comfort it. The dolphin looks at you softly and burst out crying on your shoulder. “I’ll look after you, ” you wispear into the dolphins ear. The dolphin looks at you with his watery eyes. . . and smiles. You smile back. The dolphin motions you to sit on its back. You did, as you did, the dolphin swims with you on his back. It takes one last look at its mother, kisses her body, and swims away with you on its back. It has accepted your offering on taking care of it! As you swim along, you watch as it gulps down fish that passes by, then it catches one for you! You eat it gratefully. The dolphin feeds you more and more fish filling your stomach as you both escape at the same time. Click Here to continue
You look pitfully at the dolphin and its mother one last time. . . and swim away. You feel ashamed, but you swim the thought off. You need to be on your own to have the best chance of survival. You continue to swim, until you realize how hungry you are. You look around, but no fish or seaweed are seen. You look for the seaweed you stored for later. But, alas! They are nowhere to be found. You feel weak, as mermaids need food otherwise the simply won’t survive. You stop swimming. . . you’re too weak to swim more. The next thing you know you see a net flying over you. Mermaid hunters! You try to swim away, but the net catches you fast. You are caught! There was nothing you could do to get free. As you are hauled up from the net. . . you feel your life leaving you. . . and the air strucks you. . . you gasp. . . and you die. This was a grave choice. You gaze at Finn, he was bleeding that dangerous blue liquid (mermans and mermaids blood is blue)oozing out of his back. Finn gasps in pain. . . hardly able to swim, he falls in pain, you quickly catch him. That blue liquid oozing out. You take some of the seaweed and try your best to bandage the wound. But the blood still flows. “Jewel, ” Finn gasps. “This is where I must go. . . let go of me, this is where we must say goodbye. I must go, I will only be a burden now. I’m wounded. Let me go, Jewel. Allow me to go, so you don’t have to face the pain of me dying. Let me die. . . alone. ” You look at Finn, pain in your mind. Even though, it is Finn’s wish to let him go. . . alone, you can’t bring yourself, you love him. Why can’t you just stay together for a few more moments? As soon as you run off the shark, Finn looks at you, you look at him, you both are panting for breath. Finn then looks at you with a smile. “Looks like I’ve chosen my real princess, ” Finn replied looking at you, you look at him confused. “YOU! My beloved Jewel. ” “What do you mean? ” You ask, with awe and wonderment. “Jewel, don’t you understand? I’m the prince of a nearby mermaid kingdom, safe from mermaid hunters. Just a week before we met my father the king of the mermaid kingdom, urged me to go out of my kingdom to find a bride. But along the way, the Evil Mermaid turned me into a shark and the spell could only be broken if a mermaid will try to befriend me. You were the one! And, not only that. . . you saved us from that gruesome shark. Will you marry me, my beloved Jewel? Be Princess in my kingdom? ” Click Here if you say yes Click Here if you say no
The dolphin swims on with you on its back you started to feel sleepy and with huge a huge comfortable feeling you fall asleep on the dolphin's back. When you woke up, you find yourself in a beautiful place. Corals of many colors surround the place beautifully but, something else catches your eye. A castle, a golden castle. The dolphin swims you toward the castle. You watch in happiness and awe as the dolphin swims your towards the beautiful castle. You crawl down of the dolphin and somebody comes out of the castle, a old looking man with a smile. The old man looks at you lovingly. “Welcome, dearest…” you find yourself embraced into a tight hug. “Welcome to my kingdom, you shall be called Jewel. For you are a Jewel to my eyes. ” “Where am I? Why are you being so kind? ” you ask. “Oh dearest, my baby dolphin. . . made some sounds when you were sleeping, I then knew I was expecting a guest. You were brave to try to raise it after it lost its mother. Welcome, to. . . Rainbow Coral Kingdom!” Ever since then, you lived in the Kingdom of beautiful Corals. All because of your kind heart! You let Finn go with tears, Finn looks at you. . . weakly, but something else about his face showed pity. . . for you. You don’t understand why, but you watch him sink to the deep, deep sea below. Soon, you couldn’t see him anymore. You swim away, feeling shame. Unable to get Finn’s handsome features out of your mind. You loved him. Why did you let him go? You wished you never letted him go. Now, Finn was gone. Gone forever. You were so depressed, that you didn’t notice you swimming right into a whale's mouth. As soon as you realized, it was too late. Even though there was water, the water was very unclean. . . you felt yourself getting weak. By night, you have died in the whale's stomach with the pain of letting Finn go. “I’m not leaving you, ” You reply. “I love you. ” Finn smiles at you, with love…”I knew, you would not let me go, I love you as well Jewel. I love you more than anything in the world, but please my dearest, Jewel. Let me die alone, so you will not face the pain. ” “I don’t care about the pain. . . I love you and I will stay with you. ” Finn looks at you peacefully, “I love you Jewel, I love you more than anything in the world. ” With that, he gently pushed himself away from you and he drops down to the deep blue. You try to catch him, but soon you lose track of him. You spend time to find him, with no success, but eventually you sigh and move on. “Yes, ” you say. Finn smiles at you, “Come let me take you to my kingdom. ” Finn smiles and takes you by the hand by night time you reach a beautiful underwater castle. Underwater animals swim around in the most beautiful way. That day, you and Finn marry under the full moons light. The King was extremely happy to see his son's bride. From then onwards, you became Finn’s beloved wife and Queen. Since them you, lived in the very beautiful underwater castle of Aqua Kingdom. “No, ” you answered. Finn looks at you and frowns, “Very well, but at least allow me to take you to my kingdom and give you a home safe from the mermaid hunters. ” Finn swims along the side of you as you both head on to his kingdom. You awe at the sight of the place. Animals were swimming peacefully about. As you enter, Finn leads you to a stone underwater house. “You will live here, dearest mermaid, ” He replied. You notice he is no longer calling you ‘Jewel’. He is now treating you like a normal mermaid. You swallow your grief. “Thank you, Finn, ” you replied. “Prince Finn. ” “Thank you, Prince Finn. ” Ever since then, you lived in your personal stone house underwater and enjoyed your life peacefully.
