OVERVIEW • School Districts must annually provide a minimum of five (5) hours of instruction to students in grades 6 -12 related to youth mental health awareness and assistance, including suicide prevention and impacts of substance abuse.

POSITIVE SELF-TALK • Makes you feel good about yourself and the things that are going on in your life. • It’s like having an optimistic voice in your head that always looks on the bright side. • EXAMPLES: Ø“I am doing the best I can. ” Ø“I don’t feel great right now, but things could be worse. ”
