Rhianna Stiffin-Year 7 It doesn’t take money, not even a pence, To make someone tired, angry, immense, Feel free and joyful with a smile upon their face, Dancing with glee, joy and grace. I knew from the start, you were the one, My bulbs had bloomed, colour begun, When I was down, engulfed in a hug, Where my emotions would finally spill, Thanks to your kindness, you’ll never end, I know you won’t, you’re my best friend. Anytime, I was alone you would come and cheer, With a joke or smile, It would always last for a while, So, thanks kindness, you’ll never end, I know you won’t, ‘cause you’re my best friend.

They may seem fine on the outside, Everyone can be kind, But on the inside, how sad they are, is unreal! It’s really not a big task. Planting a tree or Cleaning up the sea Walking a neighbour’s dog, Saving a frog? Kindness is all these things And what kindness brings, It’s better than the gold of kings.

Bayan Mohammed – Yr 9 He was a dark man wandering within his own shadow, looking for a warm smile, a warm touch and some love but the shadow never left him any warmth. Day by day passes and the shadow still follows him. Walking in the freezing street, he was stopped by a young boy who gave him a piece of chocolate, smiled and left. Never before his heart fluttered and for once smiled to himself, then he observed his shadow walking rapidly away.

Crying in tears as they are a word that the heart can't express many feelings as her heart was broken. It was like a stab in the heart. Days and days and still no one came. Alfie Roberts – Year 7 Kindness is me and everyone. A kind act doesn’t take much. A smile to a stranger, a message to a friend, a note to a worker can mean so much! Helping my mum with chores, lunch or dinner to her means so much. Thursdays at 8, clapping for our key workers, thanking them for their kindness gets me touched. Please remember kindness doesn’t cost but really does mean so much!
