Noise simulation 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 2
Gaus noise Pedestal s (ADC count) Bin width 400 ps Noise level s (m. V) Bin width 40 ps Don’t look like real baseline Number of sampling x 10 Fluctuation x 1/sart(10) Noise level s (m. V) 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 3
Filtered random noise • Relation between noise level and pedestal deviation is independent of sampling interval • Look more like. • When fcutoff ~ 160 MHz, noise level and pedestal deviation relation of real data is recreated. • Off course actual filter consists of various cut off frequencies, i. e. where noise is on. 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 4
Pulse simulation 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 5
Large pulse At this moment, GEM holds 40, 000 p. e. information at maximum. 72, 000 p. e. For 1% events of signal g, max PMT output is over 40000 p. e. at QE=15%. In bartender, switch to template. 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 6
There is jump at that point. Fine tuning of simulation parameter is needed. 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 7
MEGBartender • Implement waveform simulation in Task MEGTXECDigitize • Steering parameter about single electron pulse and shaping. • Now ready to deal with pile-up event. 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA Additional mixed event Trigger event 8
Waveform analysis • Now ready for environment to create pile-up in bartender and read its output in analyzer. • I’m going to organize the code of waveform analysis till now in analyzer and make them publish to collaborator in this week. 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 9
Status of spacer attachment in Tokyo 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 10
• • 150 PMTs (4 boxes) delivered. 16 PMTs sent back to HAMAMATSU. 255 sets of spacer delivered 100 sets of spacer sent to PSI. • On 27 th Sep. start attachment. • Up to now over 80 is finished. 2 boxes are finished packaging and ready to transport. 1/12/2022 Yusuke UCHIYAMA 11
