Day 1: Community of Learners: Initiatives & Collaboration Theory Perspective 1. Research Presentation: Expectations of Student Teachers and Novice Teachers, Professor Tamar Ariav and Professor Ditza Maskit 2. Meeting the Needs of Novice Teachers within the Framework of MIT. • Characteristics of a community of learners • Ways of collaboration among practitioners and professionals • Pedagogical and social initiatives to promote learning and teaching processes
Day 1: Community of Learners: Initiatives & Collaboration Implementation Aspects
Day 2: How it all started…. . Meeting at Dror school Student teachers, novice teachers and mentor teachers • Meeting whit the school principals • Meeting with student teachers and their pedagogical advisors • Meeting with the beginning teaches and other partner from the MIT
Day 3: Exploring Jaffa City 1. Jaffa MIT – Saffieh Arafath and the school team 2. A walking tour in the city 3. Lecture: Educational Frameworks in Jaffa 4. Surprise Dinner
