Arriving and Leaving School • Morning drop off is in the main playground at 8: 55 • Afternoon pick up is from the KS 1 classroom doors on the infant playground at 3: 30 At these times you will have the opportunity to chat to your child's class teacher.

Maths No Problem The school will be using a new maths scheme called ‘Maths No Problem’ which has been successfully implemented in our current Year 6 cohort. It has also been used successfully used in other schools. The scheme is aimed at single age classes, therefore we will have three Year 1 maths groups and three Year 2 maths groups.

Guided Reading • Group reading book. A new group reader will be given to them on their group’s reading day. This is chosen by the teacher at the appropriate level for their reading ability • Trolley book. They can choose a book from class trolleys as often as they want to. This can be a good opportunity to share a story and to discuss what might happen next, characters etc. Parents may want to remind their child in a morning to change their book. • ECa. R

Uniform • Please make sure that school clothes are easy for the children to take on and off for themselves. • Everything has their name in. • PE kit to be left at school. (black shorts/black joggers, white t-shirt, plimsolls and trainers) • Wellies and Wild Area Clothes to be left at school.
