MEET THE TEACHER Welcome to fifth grade at Sand Hill Elementary! My name is Ms. Michelle Mc. Donald and I am your child’s Reading and Language Arts teacher for the 2017 -2018 school year. This is my 17 th year teaching, and my first year at Sand Hill. I am super excited for you all to be the first group to welcome me! I have a daughter, Lily, who will be starting sixth grade this year. Trust me, she has plenty of advice to share, since she just left fifth grade. I am looking forward to an exciting and successful year of fresh learning experiences for your child, as well as myself! I appreciate your help and cooperation as we dive into this new journey together. Also, communication is KEY! Along with notes, emails, calls, conferences…our team (Mrs. Osborne and I) will be using Remind. com texting service. Please sign up when you see the info come home; I will gladly help if needed. We are a TEAM, and with your help, I know it will be a pleasant and positive year, while your child learns to become more independent, as a SENIOR of the school!
