Meet the Teacher Miss Anwar
Hello, I’m Miss Anwar Here are some things you may, or may not, know about me: I have been teaching at Wrotham Road Primary school for nearly four years! In 2018 I moved to a tiny country called Qatar to teach in a school there. I made lots of memories and met some wonderful people. I have four pet chickens. Their names are Batman, Robin, Thelma and Louise. I love all things creative! I enjoy painting, drawing and I have recently been learning how to sew

In Year 3 This year, we will be learning about In English we will be completing the six book challenge. We will also be learning what makes a good story and how to write our own. In Maths we will be focusing on our timetables and also learning how to add, subtract, multiply and divide. In IPC we will be learning about our brains, what the different parts of the brain are called and what they are used for.
Year 3 Routines • Year 3 will start their day at 8. 30 am and the end of the day will be 3 pm. • Packed lunches will stay in the classroom. • On Year 3 PE day children can wear their trainers. • Please bring in a water bottle, this needs to be labelled. • Please bring in a small bag into school- pencil cases are not needed.
Year 3 Expectations • Please read with your child at least four times a week. • We will be focusing on times tables in preparation for the national times tables test for Year 4. • Please come into school every day with a positive attitude and a bright smile.

Helping us in class is: Mrs Sabharwal She really likes animals especially dogs. She also likes to keep fit. In her spare time she loves to sketch.
