Medial Forebrain Bundle Immature dopamine neurons (red) and non-dopamine neurons of the midbrain are derived from the Shh lineage (purple). The axon bundles (green) of some of these neurons project toward the forebrain in the E 16. 5 mouse embryo. 10/3/2020
Brain Connections Tractography; Mapping Diffusion-DTI Emotion Control To study specific circuits in the brain, scientists can isolate a subset of fibers. The circuit shown here represents the core of the human limbic system, which plays a central role in emotion and memory. The thick green bundle enclosed by the red circle is the cingulum bundle, which connects different parts of the cortex. The C-shaped blue fibers to the right, called the uncinate fasciculus, connect the temporal lobe, which regulates language and memory, with the frontal lobe, an area involved in higher executive function and planning. Damage to this circuit can result in the inability to form new memories and the loss of emotional control.

Probabilistic Basis of Quantal Transmission P(k)를 Feynman의 확률진폭/ α(바른 틀 분배함수)는 시간 t=0에서부터 변화한다. According to the Quantum Hypothesis of Synaptic Transmission, neurotransmitter is discharged in the form of integral numbers of multimolecular packets, called quanta. The magnitude of the postsynaptic response is a probability distribution given by P(κ). The time course of the synaptic response has a duration given by the alpha function shown.
