Starter Rhetorical questions A rhetorical question is a question that doesn’t need a response or an answer. A rhetorical question can be used in persuasive writing to encourage the audience to think and reflect. Rhetorical questions in adverts might start with phrases like: Are you bored with… Do you wish you could… Why not try……………… Think about your product and try to write a rhetorical question for it
