E-LEARNING PURPOSE
E-LEARNING APPLICATION 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. E-learning as a Medium E-learning as a Process The Benefit of E-learning future in Indonesia E-learning opportunities in Indonesia The threats of E-Learning implementation in Indonesia
1. E-learning as a Medium There are several elements in delivering e-learning : -Multimedia - Contiguity - Modality - Redundancy - Coherence -Personal
2. E-learning as a Process 1. 2. 3. 4. E-learning approaches may be delivered in the following ways : Distance learning Computer-based training or learning Technology enhanced training (TEL) Computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL)
3. The Benefit of E-learning 1. Convenience and flexibility 2. More effective and efficient learning experience and opportunity 3. Dynamics and qualified education system 4. Improving personal and institutional quality
4. E-learning future in Indonesia Productive results of ICT utilization is determined by intercorrelated four components, in which the absence of one aspect will potentially leads to deficiency : 1. 5. E-learning opportunities in Indonesia 1. ICT becomes more familiar for both teacher and students 2. Hardware and software which is getting more modern and affordable 3. Telecommunication and broadband enable big capacity of data being transferred 4. Government has committed to support ICT-based learning
6. The threats of E-learning implementation in Indonesia 1. Limited fund 2. Human resource
Conclusion E-learning implementation needs qualified design and plan, readiness of hardware, software, system, and human resource. In this case, improving curriculum quality, facility, media, method, tools, ICT, mastery absolutely required.
