Quench tests – Tie rods vs I 2 § Within uncertainty of missing channels, we see an increase of 35 k. N on bullet gages and 42 k. N on Tie rods @ 10. 21 k. A 02/2019 S. Emami Naini, M. Guinchard 12

1 st Thermal cycle – Pole stresses § Recovery of Stress-strain values after warming 02/2019 S. Emami Naini, M. Guinchard 14
1 st Thermal cycle – Bullet stresses § Recovery of Stress-strain values after warming with 2 k. N of mean difference 02/2019 S. Emami Naini, M. Guinchard 15
1 st Thermal cycle – Tie rods stresses § Recovery of Stress-strain values after warming 02/2019 S. Emami Naini, M. Guinchard 16
Conclusion § The strain mechanical measurements have been performed in partnership with INFN and CERN MSC § Due to lack of time of industrial preparation within collaboration and knowledge transfer, some gages and info were lost during the assembly or later However : § Measurements in both azimuthal and longitudinal directions were done for almost all instrumented parts § Stress-Strain analysis of all parts was done for all steps of thermal cycle § Axial readings are good corresponding to simulation results § Ring results are consistent with simulation results § Pole results should be analysed in detail 02/2019 S.
