What is Measurement? Measurement is finding a number that shows the size or amount of something. Measuring how long things are, how tall they are, or how far apart they might be are all examples of length measurement.

Inches and Feet An inch is about the width of a large thumb. A foot is about the length of a large foot. 12 inches = 1 foot
