MCH O requirements 2 Processing needs in the FLP Estimation of the processing power to analyze the data once stored in the FLP memory. …. . FLP availability for commissioning at P 2 Number of FLP and CRU/GBT links needed to commission the detector (at P 2 or in another lab). Commissioning will be independently done for Station 1, Station 2 and Station 345 The requirements for commissioning at P 2 (without spares) are as follows: - 1 CRU for commissioning of quadrants station 1: 1 FLP - 1 CRU for commissioning of quadrants station 2: 1 FLP - 2 CRU for commissioning of half-chambers of stations 3, 4, 5 : 1 FLP Total: 4 CRU and 3 FLP for commissioning in the Cavern ( the CRU/FLP should be installed in the cavern for commissioning) In addition we need 2 set ups for laboratory tests at CERN (one already existing with GRORC). For that we need 2 CRU and 2 FLPs in total for the two setups. Starting date when the infrastructure must be ready to start such a commissioning We will start the commissioning in the cavern not before March 2019.
