Under Policy 5000, a faculty senate that wishes to make recommendations must vote to adopt one of four processes
The allowable processes • Hiring committee of 3 elected members • Hiring committee of 7 -11 members • Single designee with discretion to involve up to 2 more • Single designee who shall designate up to 2 more
A faculty senate may vote to change processes • At the end of any semester, for the next semester and/or • For the summer break
