Proposed Fare Change Consistent with: Ø Needs expressed in the Administration’s Way Forward Transportation Plan of January 2013 Ø Requirements of the July 2013 Transportation Finance Legislation Ø MBTA intent to move to smaller, predicted fare changes to meet increases in operating costs 5% increase across all services effective July 1, 2014 No elimination or reduction of service is proposed 2
