May 2011 doc. : IEEE 802. 19 -11/0052 r 0 Current 802. 11 af Status • Information about 802. 11 af project has been communicated to 802. 18 for inclusion in the letter to be sent to ITU regarding TVWS work being done in IEEE 802. • Next WG letter ballot is expected in Sept 2011 and publication sometime in late 2013. • TG’s Principle modified to: In order to meet international requirements and facilitate the use of multiple contiguous or non-contiguous channels, use of TGac with changes for TGaf is our focus. – Initially the starting point was to use changes to Clauses 17 and 19 and Annexes D and E. – This will help in resolution of about 150 PHY related comments.
