From 2006 – 2009, Wisewood School and Community Sports College has consistently produced a higher percentage of pupils with these grades compared to the average of other schools in the Sheffield Local Authority. This is also true in comparison to the average of schools in England with the exception of 2006 where Wisewood had 38% of pupils with these grades and in England the average was 46%. The dependence of foundation students on the teachers leads to these lower grades however current GCSE/BTEC are on course for better grades. When closely guided progress does quicken.
