Maths Year 5 Week beginning 29. 06. 20
Hello Year 5 and parents Welcome to your maths work Power. Point. Here you will find all the information you need for your maths lessons. Your teachers have decided you will be continuing with chapter 12 on Area and Perimeter. To start each day, you will have some arithmetic questions. The answers to these questions will be on the next slide so you can check your answers yourself. If you want a challenge, there will be another maths Power. Point with some more arithmetic work. Next you will find the text book pages (that we usually show on the board). They will tell you about what you are learning that day and give you some opportunity for practice. After this, you should complete the correct page(s) in your workbook. You should complete as much of this as you can but the questions get more challenging so don’t worry if you can’t get to the end of the questions. The answers to your workbook are also on this Power. Point. To support this work, there are some more things you could be doing at home. You should be practicing your times tables each day. You could use the Doodle. Tables app to help you do this. If any of you have forgotten your login details then email us to let us know as we will be able to find these for you. Doodle. Maths is also a great way to continue improving your maths skills and uses the same login details. Enjoy! Love, Your teachers
