Doubling and halving What can you remember about doubling and halving? Let us have a quick recap.
When you double an amount you have 2 equal groups. So double 10 is 10 + 10 = 20

Arithmetic Let’s rehearse our X 3 tables Hagrid How quickly can you answer these questions? Time yourself. PW: Now find associated division facts E. G 6 x 3 =18 1 x 3= 2 x 3= so 3 x 3= 18 ÷ 3 = 6 4 x 3= 5 x 3= 6 x 3= 7 x 3= 8 x 3= 9 x 3= 10 x 3= 11 x 3= 12 x 3= If 2 x 3 = 6 Find 20 x 3 = 18 ÷ 6 = 3 Now write the associated division facts.
