PASSES Scholars need to be in class at all times. Passes are for EMERGENCIES. Passes will be provided on the classroom board. Scholars should not disrupt the classroom activities for bathroom passes. No passes will be allowed during NOTES. Entrance Rituals [1 point] Gather your materials for the class period. Take out/Hand in homework assignments. Be in your seat when the bell rings, beginning the activator. -Preparedness [1 point] Have all necessary materials for class including, but not limited to, a notebook or binder, pen and/or pencil, and homework, as applicable. -Active Participation [1 point] Actively participate in all aspects of the lesson. Remain on task throughout the entire class period. Use only appropriate language and academic vocabulary. -NO Electronics [1 point] Electronic devices must be off and away during the entire class period. -Exit Rituals [1 point] Return all materials to appropriate locations in the classroom. Hand in assignments as directed. Leave the classroom organized. Be in your seat when the bell rings. The teacher dismisses the class, not the bell. Strive for 5!
