Lemonade Logic Solution § Max can fill the 3 -gallon jug with lemonade, and then pour that lemonade into the 5 -gallon jug. § Then he can fill the 3 -gallon jug from the 8 -gallon jug again, and pour that lemonade into the 5 -gallon jug until it is full. § Next, he must pour the lemonade from the 5 -gallon jug back into the 8 -gallon jug. § Then he can pour the lemonade from the 3 -gallon jug into the 5 gallon jug. § Finally, he fills up the 3 -gallon jug from the 8 -gallon jug again.
