Math Reassessment Policy (Student did not demonstrate mastery during the initial assessment) Unit 1

Math Reassessment Policy (Student did not demonstrate mastery during the initial assessment) Unit 1 Assessment Score: 65% The student will be reassessed for the Unit 1 concepts during the Unit 2 assessment administration. Unit 1 Reassessment score: 80% (The student is now eligible to take the Unit 2 assessment because they have demonstrated mastery) Both the Unit 1 Assessment and Reassessment scores are averaged: (65+80)/2 -> Unit 1 Grade: 72. 5% The student may now come during IF to take the Unit 2 assessment in hopes of “catching up”

Unit 1 Reassessment score: 65% (the student still has not demonstrated mastery of the content and is not eligible to take the Unit 2 assessment) Both the Unit 1 Assessment and Reassessment scores are averages: (55+65)/2 -> Unit 1 Grade: 60% The student will be reassessed on the Unit 1 concepts during the Unit 3 assessment administration. Unit 1 Reassessment (2) score: 70% (the student has demonstrated mastery of the content and is eligible to take the Unit 2 assessment) Student Unit 1 Grade: (60+70)/2 -> 65% The student may now come during IF to take the Unit 2 assessment in hopes of “catching up”
