Materials ◦ In art therapy, materials are language. The material is a communication channel between the Facilitator to the client, and the client and materials. ◦ The materials are the heart of the process. ◦ It is important to know selecting material is not accidental.
Materials ◦ The field of Art Therapy constantly flow between the material and the spiritual domains. It is a process in which the material represents the spiritual and vice verse. ◦ Without words Materials succeed in revealing much of one’s soul.
Pencil ◦. Pencil easily connects theoretical conceptual work, making notes and sketches toward real thing. It is used as an internal visual organizes towards "painting". People tend to use it when they feel it is important to control the situation. It connects to drawing skills.
