On successful completion of this course, the students should be able to: • Memorize formatting requirements for preparing a report, research paper and journal article • Use specific academic search engines, databases, and repositories for data search • Analyze distinguish between the sources of academic information: primary, secondary, tertiary and «grey» literature • Write a literature review • Demonstrate an ability to present and discuss research in dialogue with the academic community, orally and in writing • Formulate research questions, hypotheses and objectives • Develop a research plan

Teaching Methodology Course provides a mix of both theory and practice, thus enabling transfer

Teaching Methodology Course provides a mix of both theory and practice, thus enabling transfer of knowledge and the development of skills. The main focus of the course is to stimulate critical discussion and reflection on individual contributions. Forms of academic teaching: • lectures, • seminars, • tutorilas, • workshops. Contact hours use such teaching methods as: • discussion, • case study, • practical application, • active learning. The course includes sessions of student presentations. Assessment: individual assignments (case-studies, essays), examinations (which incorporate quizzes, short-answer questions, case and problem-based questions, multiple choice questions); group and individual projects.
