Beginning Program Checklist • Continuity book • Whether you are a BDE, BN or Company Master Driver you should have a continuity book. In your book you should have the following at a minimum: • • Your appointment orders Copies of your training certificates Copy of your last program inspection Roster of your next lower unit Master Drivers Copies of their appointment orders Copies of their training certification Copy of your signed SOP Copy of any reports that your higher levels requires you to submit up. • SOP • Review your unit SOP and make sure that it is in line with your next higher unit SOP as well as regulations. If changes need to be made to your SOP inform your commander that changes need to be made so they will not be surprised when you bring them a new SOP to sign. • APPT Orders • While your unit should create new appointment orders for the commander to sign, you may have to create your own. Either way just ensure that you have signed appointment orders, they are a critical task for your inspection. • Memos • Review all your memos and make sure they are formatted correctly and that the personnel on them are still with the unit. Too often Soldiers PCS and they never get removed from the training memos and conversely new arrivals never get added to updated memos. • Driver Packets • These are the heart and soul of the company program, you must make sure they are accurate and complete. We will detail these in a bit. 8

POI for Phase I 15
POI for Phase II training is conducted IAW the appropriate TC. All instruction should be taken from the TC for both the classroom, PMCS and hands-on training. To prepare students for the control lanes portion of the testing, those lanes are laid out in each TC appendix. 16
Phase III Training Validation Phase III is the training validation of all the training you have done in Phase II. In order for a student to enter the validation phase they must have passed the Phase I and II written exam and they must have been issued a learner permit and have that permit on them while being tested. The validation consists of a PMCS test (results annotated on the back of the 348), Control lanes are next (results annotated in the notes section of the 6125), last is the road test and is scored on the 6125. 17
