Teachers coming from the industrial world • Dr. Bortoluzzi: Environmental Control and Sustainability Management • Dr. Boffito & Dr. Vatti: Patents and Management of Innovation • Dr. Castellaneta: Economics and management Within the other courses, seminars are held by people from the industrial world Each year a specific call is published to recruit people from the industry with CVs relevant to the course requirements.
One example…. .
THESIS RESEARCH LABORATORY 39 credits During the second year the students must attend the one -year thesis research laboratory; the parallel frequency of the expected courses is included. An opportunity to growth as a researcher, to learn how to work in team, to learn by papers published in literature, to speak with students involved in the same topic all over the world. The Master’s degree in Industrial chemistry of the Università degli Studi di Milano has been among the first ones in Italy to gain the Euro. Master Label. The Euro. Master Label certifies the educational qualification provided by the Master’s Degree Course in Industrial Chemistry as a master’s degree recognized by the European Universities and gives the right to access the post-graduate courses of chemistry at the European level.
INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY - No inactive students - High average ratings of student exam grades Entering in detail (Source: University), the average grade of graduation is 106. 5 / 110 and the time employed to complete the degree is 2. 2 years and 41. 2% graduates.
After 6 months after the end of the Master: - 78% work continuously in the chemical field - 16% continue their studies (doctorate) - 6% are looking for work interesting fact is that the totality of the employed has found work in the private sector In particular, the Chemical / Energy branch absorbs 62. 9% of graduates in front of a total of 79% of employees in industry. As far as the tertiary sector is concerned, 4. 8% of graduates are employed in education and research, compared with 14. 2% of other activities (miscellaneous services, consultancy, trade and healthcare). Almost all of the respondents (95. 3%) consider the skills acquired in their cursus studiorum can be used to a high degree (Alma. Laurea)
