Renewable Portfolio Standard Starting with calendar year 2003, Retail Electricity Suppliers must comply with the Renewable Portfolio Standard by demonstrating that their generation portfolio(s) for sales to Massachusetts retail customers contain a minimum of New Renewables. 2
