Early Career His first job was a rehearsal pianist for Barbra Streisand on the show Funny Girl He went on to work with other Broadway legends such as Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, and Groucho Marx

Awards • He has won all four major American performing arts awards (Emmys, Grammys, Oscar, and Tonys) for his various works. • He is one of only two people to win all four awards, in addition to a Pulitzer Prize. • He also received other awards, including: -Academy Awards -Drama Desk Awards -Golden Globes
