Men are primarily the ones who are seen up front in the hip hop industry. To be a female rapper in the industry you must be half naked or not get respect at all.

Women in Hip Hop are very rare, we know many male rappers but we have never looked into why the few females that there are have to be done the way they are. The women we know in hip are very sexualized and they should not have to sexualize their bodies in order to make it in the industry.

For years women in the industry have been renamed, often called names like hoes, bitches, sluts, broads, baby mothers, each word hitting their skin like the bullets that kill young black men but those names are never thought of in that way. Morgan
