S. – 2016 estimates include production in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Vermont, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, and West Virginia – 4. 21 million gallons, 46. 31 million pounds, up 23% from 2015’s production of 3. 434 million gallons (32, 000 gallons in Indiana, Minnesota, and West Virginia) – 12. 550 million taps, up 5% from 2015’s 11. 955 million taps (3. 5 % increase excluding the 184, 000 taps in Indiana, Minnesota, and West Virginia) – 0. 335 gallons, 3. 685 pounds per tap, up 17%
