Manufactured In-place Composite Pipe (MICP) is a fully structural (Class IV) pressure pipe rehabilitation technology pursuant to the AWWA Close Fit Liner (CFL) classification. MICP was developed by Sipp. Tech and comprised of a robotically applied Sipp. Steel™ composite lining system. Sipp. Steel™ composite is comprised of of two disparate material layers and continuous, circumferentially wound and or axially applied fiber reinforcement. MICP is best suited for the long term structural renewal of deteriorated pressure pipelines however can be utilized on gravity systems.
