IMPLEMENTATION ISSUES q EMI EMC test reports from foreign labs are as per foreign standards, especially in case of surge voltage testing (foreign: 1 KV, India: 2 KV) q Some countries test only EMI but no EMC. q Some products have issues related to noncompliance in respect of some parameters. q Foreign lab test reports not available, as product not being tested by independent labs. >> To overcome these issues, limited relaxation in submission of reports being considered (6 -12 m) 13
