What is a comic? • A comic is similar to a story • A comic uses pictures AND writing to tell a story • There are characters, settings and PLOT • PLOT is what the story is about • Comics use FRAMES to tell the story • The story is usually told in ORDER • Each part of the story is told with a different FRAME
