WORKLIFE BALANCE-WHAT IS IT? • Defined as is a concept including proper prioritizing between “WORK" (career and ambition) AND • “LIFESTYLE" (health, pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development/meditation) • Joggling the demands of work and rest of one’s life • This is related to the idea of lifestyle choice.
WHY HAS IT BECOME IMPORTANT • Increase and enhancement in technology – Texting, emailing, whats. Eg car-pooling or trading services, etc • Get Moving: regular exercise!!!!! – Gym work • Bring back “little” Relaxation!: – Weekend away or annual vacation! – Turn off work phones / laptops after work
