Review slide 2 The UBOS Act in its current form does not appropriately empower UBOS to perform its supervisory role largely due to the following reasons: Other players in the NSS have regulations from which they derive their mandate. The UBOS Act does not state in explicit terms which Act prevails over the other with respect to statistical production; The Act is also essentially a UBOS Act and not for the entire NSS.
